8-13 & 14-2010  Chase continues to improve as well as impress.  Chase testing with established Legend car racer, Ryan Flores, betters his lap times by 3/10th of a second.  This weekend’s testing was designed to provide Chase an opportunity to practice side by side racing as well  as single and double file restarts.  Chase performed extremely well thus continuing to impress.  At the end of the day, Ryan and Chase ran a 15 lap race and a 5 lap shoot out.  Ryan won the 15 lapper, however, Chase came back to win the 5 lap shootout. 

7-30-2010  Chase tests Legend Car:   Chase,  after a full day of testing at Orange County Speedway,  finishes only a tenth off his teammate Bayley Curry.  After a much anticipated debut, Chase impresses both teammate and team owner.  The transition from Go-Karts to Legends is not easy.  The horsepower combined with the short wheel base makes these cars very challenging to drive.  Many of today’s NASCAR stars came out of Legends.  They will be the first to tell you, “if you can drive a Legend, you can drive anything”.  Throughout the day, Chase was able to keep the car underneath him displaying amazing car control, resulting in very consistent lap times.  Chase is scheduled to test again on 8-13 and 8-14 at Orange County Speedway.

7-16-2010 A rain shortened weekend delays testing in the Legends car: On 7-16-2010, Chase travelled to Charlotte to watch the Legends Million and test in his Legends car.  However, mother nature was not cooperative, and testing had to be delayed.  Chase is currently scheduled to test on Friday July 30th at Orange County Speedway, located in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Please check back to learn the testing results

7-11-2010 Chase wins two at Shippensburg Speedway:
Returning to the dirt tracks for only the third time after a three year layoff, Chase wins the Jr. Restricted Light and the Jr. Champ classes.  After qualifying 2nd in the Jr. Restricted Light class, Chase took the lead on the 4th lap and never looked back.  The field consisted of 22 drivers.
Qualifying 3rd in the Jr. Champ class, Chase took the lead in lap 12 and was able to hold on despite a strong challenge from the # 20.   The field consisted of 16 drivers.

7-4-2010 Beaver Run Gold Cup results:
After a strong 5th  place finish in the Jr. Heavy class on Saturday, things took a turn for the worse.  Tire struggles combined with high temperatures led to a less than expected weekend.  You can review the results by clicking on the Race History tab.

6-1-2010 Chase signs on with Ladyga Motorsports:
On 6-1-2010, Chase was offered and accepted the opportunity to drive a Legend car for Ladyga Motorsports.  Chase will be competing in the Young Lions Division.  At the present time, the car, number 48 is being built.  Chase will begin testing on 7-18-2010, in preparation to compete in the Winter Series.

Chase is both excited and humbled at the opportunity to drive for Ladyga Motorsports.

 6-13-2010 Chase scores his first victory in the Pennsylvania Dirt Karting Series:

In his second PDKS outing, racing at Cove Valley, Chase qualified 2nd in Jr. Champ and took home his first PDKS win.  Chase also qualified 2nd in the Junior Restricted Light class and finished a very respectable 4th.

The Jr. Champ class fielded 26 drivers and the Jr. Champ class fielded 16 drivers

5-16-2010 Chase competes in his first ever Pennsylvania Dirt Karting Series:

After three years removed from the dirt, Chase took his talents to Greenwood Valley Action Track where he competed in his first PDKS.  In the Jr. Restricted Light class, chase qualified 12th and finished 10th.  In the Jr. Champ class, Chase qualified 10th and finished 6th.

Though the finishes were not where Chase would have liked, both were very respectable.  Jr. Champ fielded 20 and Jr. Restricted fielded 26.
